Fitzroy is recruiting support workers to join a fantastic established team in Grayshott, near Hindhead.
Donec Mews is a residential setting supporting 16 residents with learning difficulties, autism, and mental health needs. Set in a stunning rural location, with 3 separate houses and beautiful gardens on the grounds, this was the first service started by Elizabeth Fitzroy, making it a truly privileged place to work.
The people we support enjoy various activities, from bowling to local pub visits and cinema, so no two days are the same. If you are working in care or seeking a rewarding new role, we would love to hear from you. We ask that you are kind, caring, supportive, and have a great sense of humour.
Note: Due to the needs of the people we support, we are currently only able to recruit female support workers.
Requirements: A driving license and own vehicle are essential due to the location.
Benefits:
* Day shift pay: £11.25/hour on weekdays and £12.38/hour on weekends.
* Additional £2.50 for overtime shifts.
* Time and a half or double time on public holidays.
* 30 days holiday from the start.
As a support worker, you will wake up feeling good about your work. No previous care experience is necessary; with the right values, we will train and support you to confidently deliver care and support to transform lives for people with disabilities.
What does a Support Worker do?
