Job Summary
We are looking for a new employee to be based in .Summary:This role applies engineering values to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.What a typical day looks like:
1. Research facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
2. Research engineering proposals, process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design.
3. Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning and other technical and economic factors.
4. Provides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning.
5. Compiles and research facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
6. Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry.
7. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
8. Guides projects and project teams.
The experience/qualification we are looking to add to our team
9. Bachelor's degree in Engineering highly preferred or equivalent experience.
10. Typically requires some (1 - 2 years of) experience as an Industrial or Facilities Engineer.
11. Positive mindset, "can do" attitude.
12. Full UK Driving license.
13. Eligibility to work in the UK.
