A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a skilled Toolmaker to join a UK known manufacturer in the Worcester Area!
With a strong focus on quality and efficiency, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, detail-oriented manufacturing setting.
Role & Responsibilities:
Produce bespoke tooling components using traditional machining methods
Operate manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders with a focus on accuracy and safety
Assemble and finish tooling using hand tools and polishing equipment
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure dimensional accuracy
Conduct quality checks using precision instruments and coordinate measuring machines
Maintain a tidy and organised work area in line with company standards
Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets and support continuous improvement
Take ownership of tasks and contribute to a safe working environmentSkills & Experience Required:
Toolmaker with hands-on experience in a workshop or manufacturing setting
Proficient in manual machining and hand-finishing techniques
Strong understanding of technical drawings and tolerances
Skilled in using inspection tools including micrometers, gauges, and CMM systems
Self-motivated with excellent time management and attention to detail
Professional and adaptable with strong communication skillsPackage & Benefits:
