Monday to Friday, 8.30am 5pm but the client can be flexible
Circa £13.00 per hour
Our client is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly team based in Shrewsbury. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, and theyre happy to offer flexible working hours across the week if needed. There will be a particular focus on purchase ledger.
Duties will involve:
* Credit control
* Purchase Ledger management
* Monitoring finance team inboxes
* Answering phone calls within the department
* Handling petty cash
* Processing expenses and credit card transactions
* Setting up new supplier and customer accounts
* Resolving supplier and customer queries
* General ad hoc admin tasks
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will need to have experience of working in a similar role, including strong purchase ledger skills/experience and be available to start work at short notice.
