Opening soon, Courtyard by Marriott Sheffield is a brand-new 150-bedroom hotel located between Sheffield and Rotherham. Situated within a growing business park and the new Waverley residential development, and just 10 minutes from Meadowhall, the hotel is ideally placed to attract both corporate and leisure guests.
The hotel features stylish rooms across five floors, a fully equipped residents’ gym, one meeting room, and on-site parking. Our all-day Bistro & Bar is expected to become a key dining spot in the area.

A Day in the Life of a Front Office Supervisor at Our Hotel
What you'll be doing:
* Lead the front desk team with a friendly, proactive vibe, making every guest feel welcome and taken care of from the moment they arrive.
* Ensure smooth front desk operations, managing check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries efficiently.
* Provide guidance, training, and support to front desk agents to maintain high standards and a positive environment.
* Handle guest requests and challenges confidently, turning interactions into positive experiences.
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to manage room availability and meet guest needs.
* Oversee reservations, check-ins, billing, and guest accounts for accuracy and organization.
* Assist with shift planning and scheduling to ensure the front desk is well-prepared.
* Undertake duty management shifts and oversee daily hotel operations.
* Maintain a welcoming and professional front desk area, setting the stage for memorable guest experiences.
What We Need From You
* A people-person with front desk or guest services experience, and some leadership skills.
* Exceptional communication skills and a natural problem-solver, ready to handle busy situations.
* Organized and detail-oriented, especially with reservations and billing.
* Team-focused and collaborative, fostering a positive environment for colleagues and guests.
* Decisive and confident, able to keep operations running smoothly.
