To qualify for the Senior Practitioner role, candidates must have extensive experience working with children and families in a statutory setting, knowledge of relevant policies, legislation, and guidance, and the ability to assess and manage risk. A Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, or an equivalent recognized qualification is required, along with registration with the Scottish Social Services Council, and a minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience.
This position provides a pathway for career development for social workers seeking progression without managerial responsibilities.
