We are seeking to appoint a substantive Consultant within our Forensics team to join the newly developed Forensic Intellectual and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (FIND) Community Team in South West London & St George’s Mental Health Trust.
The Forensic service is part of the Trust's Specialist Service Line and collaborates within the South London Mental Health and Community Partnership (SLP) Forensic Provider Collaborative (PC). The role offers flexible, part-time working (5 Programmed Activities), with opportunities for professional development and a good work-life balance.
The post involves providing medical leadership to the FIND Community Team, working with adults diagnosed with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, who also have co-morbid mental illness and offending behaviors. Responsibilities include community treatment, care coordination, social and clinical supervision, risk assessment, and overall clinical responsibility for patient care, risk management, and treatment in the community.
