Job Title: Production Operative – Temporary Contract We have a great opportunity for Production Operators on a permanent, full-time basis. Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987, we are on a 50-acre site and operate a 24/7 manufacturing site. Epson is the only European manufacturing and distribution site for ink cartridges and textile inks and have recently expanded into blow moulding. Quality and innovation is at the heart of everything we do, from the Cleanroom environment to the in-house machinery, design and technology improvements from which they use our own 6-axis robots. Salary: £24,829 17% shift allowance Two Rotational Shift Pattern: Week 1 – 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Week 2 – 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Following successful shortlisted application, you will be invited to Epson’s site to go through a recruitment process, to include: literacy and numeracy test, drug and alcohol test, health and safety briefing, and competency-based interview. The assessment will take around 3 hours to complete. The role: Check the production shipping Plans to build priority orders as requested Communicate with the infusion Department about the planned builds Stock movements and management within the Packing area – replenishment of the racking with in the Packing Area To report spillages and leaks to KTP on the shift Follow procedures and work instructions for each process Note down all batch codes on the relevant paperwork – traceability Using the information for the model to produce Labels for each Pouch or Bag using the relevant Matrixes. Work to achieve the daily production targets Ensure quality is good and maintained during the shift. Responsible for escalation of machine downtime to Technician. Ensure the line is set up correctly at the start of every shift. Ensure the line is empty at the end of your shift if the last shift on. Ensure 5s is done during and at the end of shift Move all unwanted satellites and barrels are moved back to set location (weighting when necessary) Ensure PPE is always worn To ensure trolley QTYS are correct and that the product on the trolley matches up with paperwork. Follow all work instructions to each process with their allocated areas (Infusion/Packing) within textiles Supporting other areas of business as required COMPLETE all necessary training SAP transaction to completed BIN to BIN movements SAP transactions to be completed Explosions to Packing RECIPT bins Make sure all Paper work is completed in a timely manner Paperwork to be completed with all sections filled in.
