Secondary Teacher – (QTS Required) Location: Doncaster Pay: Pay as scale Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join a well-established school in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and achieving strong student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable)
* Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring high standards are maintained
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching in UK secondary schools
* Strong knowledge of the subject specialism ([e.g., Maths / English / Science])
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable
* Experience with GCSE and/or A-Level teaching
* Evidence of improving student attainment and progress
* Ofsted “Good” or “Outstanding” teaching experience
