We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Warehouse Team Leader to join ourAerospace division at Wattisham, providing essential warehousing services as part of aneffective and efficient team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will beresponsible for leading a small team and ensuring the seamless execution of alldepartmental processes.
How you create impact KPI Management & Reporting: Review your team's daily performance to ensure all internal and customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistentlyachieved. Compile, distribute, and discuss productivity and performance reportswith the team to assess, review, and continuously improve operationalperformance.
System and Inventory Proficiency: Undertake all general warehousing duties,which includes the operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such asForklift Trucks (FLT).
Workload and Resource Allocation: Strategically manage the departmentworkloads and resource allocation on a daily basis to maintain efficiency.
Compliance & Inter-Agency Communication: Actively communicate with otheragencies to achieve joint goals. Promptly report all discrepancies that may affectthe contract's performance to the Operations Manager.
Continuous Improvement: Help drive lean principles within the team
Team Development: Continuously develop a highly customer-focused andmotivated team.
Supervision: Ensure fair and consistent supervision of all employees within theteam.
Policy Promotion: Promote the Companys policies on Quality, Health andSafety, and Environment.
What we would like you to bring Crucial Qualification: Must hold a valid UAA MJDI qualification (User AccountAdministrator, Management of Joint Deployed Inventory).
Demonstrable understanding of and experience inwarehouse practices.
Proven experience of working to agreed targets and specificprocesses, requiring good attention to detail.
Full driving license is essential, and you must be prepared tooperate MHE, including FLT.
Knowledge of military aerospace logistics is advantageous
Proven experience in managing a small team and work independently whenrequired.
Good written and spoken Communication skills
Must be willing to undergo Security Check Clearance
