The role is permanent and can be based in Edinburgh, UK or Zwolle, Netherlands, with travel throughout the Western Europe region.
Responsibilities
* Negotiate and manage job packages for activities such as foundations, electrical works, roads & hard stands, piling works, cranes, installation teams, and other site services.
* Manage subcontractors for site works.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals.
* Negotiate contracts and secure competitive terms.
* Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
* Assess and reduce procurement‑related risks while adhering to local regulations.
* Identify and implement process improvements; maintain accurate procurement data in SAP.
* Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and quality teams.

Key Qualities
* A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or business administration field.
* Demonstrable experience in international procurement, preferably in project environments.
* Proven experience in strategic procurement and vendor management.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills (FIDIC knowledge is highly advantageous).
* Technical affinity and proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Ariba (or similar platforms).
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Full, valid UK driving license.
