The Role: You will: Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to pupils aged 4–19. Assist students with a variety of learning needs, as well as personal care tasks, including moving and handling using hoists when required. Offer consistent emotional and behavioural support, remaining flexible in response to changes in routine or behaviour. Help create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. To be considered for the role of a Teaching Assistant in SEN schools you will: Be flexible. Experience in Classroom Support (Preferable) have your own transport Experience with both small group and 1:1 is beneficial Friendly and nurturing qualities. Competent behaviour management skills. Familiarity with a range of needs (e.g., ASD - Autistic Spectrum Disorder, SLD - Severe Learning Difficulty and PMLD - Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty). Preferably moving and handling training or have recent experience in this. Have a patient and caring nature. Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
