About the role:
Lead improvement projects to improve performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Install a culture of Continuous Improvement through the facilitation of Kaizens and education of improvement techniques. Embrace and drive ConvaTec’s core mission, values, and priorities.

Your key duties and responsibilities:

1. Supporting the operations team to implement a culture of Continuous Improvement
2. Lead improvement projects
3. Facilitate/Lead Kaizen events. Ensuring engagement from cross functional teams and effective action management to realize improvements
4. Supporting others to lead effective Kaizen Events, through delivery of mentoring and coaching.
5. Provide training to the operations team in improvement techniques. Provide ongoing support and coaching to ensure effective use and application of tools
6. Support the implementation and effectiveness of the site Process Improvement Management system.
7. Deliver improvement projects. Ensuring effective delivery using project management techniques.
8. Use data analytical techniques to identify Improvements to improve performance in SQDC.
9. Collaborates with process owners and plant leadership to drive performance in SQDC
10. Update and maintain change control systems and associated documentation
11. Adhere to legal, corporate and site legislation, and procedures
12. Shares best practices throughout the company and monitors projects for opportunities for cross-collaboration
13. Uphold and comply with GMPand EHS requirements

Skills & Experience:

14. Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma Tools
15. Project Management experience is essential
16. Data analysis skills
17. Excellent Presentation and Communication skills
18. Demonstrated expertise in Problem solving
19. Ability to Coach and train others to deliver improvements
20. Ability to engage and empower others
21. Proven ability to balance multiple, competing priorities
22. Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus ideally MS Project

Qualifications/Education:

23. Training or Certification in Lean Manufacturing
24. Experience in working in a Manufacturing environment implementing Lean Manufacturing
25. Degree in Lean Manufacturing (desirable)

Travel Requirements:

26. Position may involve occasional travel requirements. mostly within the UK.

Working Conditions:

27. Site based at Deeside Manufacturing Plant.
