FLEET TECHNICAL UPTIME MANAGER
Percepta invites applications for a Fleet Technical Uptime Manager based in Dunton, Essex. The role is integral to delivering customer experiences and meeting uptime service levels for our Fleet Management (FFM) products.

Contract Type: Full‑Time, Permanent, Hybrid (2 days office/3 days home)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible between 8 am and 6 pm
Salary: £28,700 to £30,000 per annum
Location: Dunton, Essex
What You’ll Be Doing
The Fleet Management Services team is responsible for ensuring that FFM products and services meet agreed service levels. The role involves executing the uptime process, coordinating parties, providing insight and feedback, managing budgets, and ensuring service level agreements align with strategy.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
* Deliver class‑leading uptime solutions and meet customer‑specific SLA’s.
* Define and design key processes to maximise customer satisfaction.
* Utilise tools and product services to deliver uptime SLA’s.
* Coordinate with client telematics and uptime teams to manage vehicle health warnings.
* Contact drivers/fleet operators to ensure timely completion of work.
* Manage a fleet portfolio to maximise uptime.
* Make informed decisions to minimise total cost of ownership.
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities for vehicle uptime and team efficiency.
* Assist overall uptime process across outsourced providers.
* Support service‑related process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
* Develop and maintain desk procedures for uptime and multi‑supplier services.
* Support development of business requirements for IT solutions to automate uptime workflow.
What You Bring To The Role
* Further education (A Levels, Higher, ONC or relevant experience).
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Time‑management and ability to prioritise projects.
* Conflict‑resolution skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
* Multi‑tasking and managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
