E-commerce Assistant (Maternity Cover) PPG Head Office, Birstall Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 9am – 5pm, Friday: 9am – 4pm About the Role We’re looking for a proactive and organised E-commerce Assistant to join our Retail E-commerce team at PPG Architectural Coatings on a 9-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced digital environment, supporting key operational tasks across our online retail platforms. What We Offer Flexible Hybrid working - 3 days in office and 2 Work from home Opportunity to work with a leading global brand in coatings and specialty materials Exposure to key areas of digital commerce and retail operations Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality customer service by managing queries from online platforms. Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage customer returns. Raise credits and collections in SAP as required. Support daily performance communications across accounts. Take accurate and timely meeting minutes. Monitor chargebacks and circulate relevant updates to the wider team. Assist with digital merchandising, including uploading assets and copy to e-commerce platforms. Provide general administrative support to the Retail E-commerce team. Essential Skills & Experience: Previous experience in online customer service. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail. Basic Excel knowledge (e.g., data entry, sorting/filtering, formatting). Desirable: Experience with digital shelf management or e-commerce platforms. Familiarity with SAP systems.
