Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary to support their busy Property Law team. The position is based in their Reading office, with the flexibility of hybrid working.\n\nCompany Benefits:\n\n * Competitive salary with annual bonus potential.\n\n * Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.\n\n * Flexible benefits package, including additional annual leave, cycle-to-work scheme, healthcare, and more.\n\n * Hybrid working environment.\n\n * A supportive and inclusive team culture focused on continuous development.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Coordinate and manage complex diaries for the Property team, schedule client meetings, hearings, and travel arrangements.\n\n * Draft, format, and proofread various legal documents and correspondence related to property transactions, including leases, contracts, and agreements.\n\n * Provide administrative support for property transactions, including preparing and reviewing documents, amending manuscripts, and handling compliance-related tasks.\n\n * Communicate directly with clients, external parties, surveyors, and agents in relation to property matters, ensuring all parties are updated and informed.\n\n * Organise and maintain document management systems, ensuring all property-related files are kept in order and compliant with regulations.\n\n * Organise and assist with property-related events such as meetings, closings, and property development projects.\n\n * Efficiently prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced property law environment.\n\n * Handle all sensitive legal matters with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.\n\nExperience and Skills Requirements:\n\n * 3-5 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally with a focus on property law or a similar field within a corporate or professional services environment.\n\n * Knowledge of property law, lease agreements, conveyancing, and real estate transactions is highly desirable.\n\n * Strong skills in document management and diary management; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal management software.\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and professionals at all levels.\n\n * High attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of work.\n\n * Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple workloads, and remain organised in a high-pressure environment.\n\n * Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity at all times.\n\nIf you have not been contacted within 5 working days, then unfortunately on this occasion your CV has not been shortlisted
