Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team if you have Carvery, and or FoH experience this may be a plus. In this role, you will assist in food preparation and ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various meals, ensuring all food is handled safely and hygienically.
* Support the cooking process by preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils, pots, and pans.
* Follow food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance with health standards.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during busy periods.
* Participate in catering events as needed, assisting in meal preparation and service.
* Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
* Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
* A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
