About Us Pathway Tracker Limited is seeking an Adult Education Tutor to design, develop and deliver high-quality adult learning programmes within the health and social care sector.
The postholder will support learners to acquire vocational knowledge, skills and competencies through classroom‑based, online and workplace learning activities.
The role will be responsible for planning and delivering learning programmes, assessing learner progress, developing educational resources and supporting continuous improvement in training provision.
Design, prepare and deliver adult learning programmes in health and social care.
Deliver training through classroom, virtual and blended learning methods.
Facilitate workshops, seminars and group learning sessions.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs and learning styles.
Promote learner engagement and achievement through effective teaching practice.
Assess learner knowledge, skills and competence against programme requirements.
Develop and implement assessment methods to evaluate learner progress and achievement.
Provide timely feedback and learning support to learners.
Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress and outcomes.
Participate in internal quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
Develop and review training materials, lesson plans and educational resources.
Update course content to reflect changes in legislation, regulation and sector best practice.
Contribute to the design of new training programmes and qualifications.
Ensure learning materials remain relevant, accurate and learner‑focused.
Conduct learner inductions and initial assessments.
Monitor learner progression and identify additional support requirements.
Provide guidance and mentoring to learners throughout their learning journey.
Encourage achievement, progression and professional development.
Liaise with employers and partner organisations regarding learner development.
Support workforce development initiatives for client organisations.
Represent Pathway Tracker Limited professionally at meetings, events and training sessions.
Ensure training delivery complies with awarding body requirements, organisational policies and relevant legislation.
Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards.
Degree, Level 5 qualification or equivalent professional experience in education, training, health and social care or a related field.
Teaching qualification such as AET, CET, DET or equivalent.
Experience delivering training or education to adult learners.
Experience designing learning materials and training programmes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and planning abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple learning programmes.
Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA or equivalent).
Internal Quality Assurance qualification.
Experience working within the health and social care sector.
Knowledge of CQC regulatory requirements and workforce development standards.
