We’re a small, focused team and we’re now looking for our first sales hire to help us generate revenue and build a repeatable sales engine from scratch.


📄 Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Founding Account Executive, focused on supporting an early-stage SaaS company with big ambitions. This is not a typical sales role. There are no inbound leads, no existing pipeline, and no SDR support. You will be responsible for creating the entire sales motion with us.


The role involves identifying and engaging potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering accessibility solutions. Key responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle, building strong client relationships, providing consultation, and collaborating internally to ensure customer satisfaction. You will actively contribute to the growth of Adjustable by driving sales and deepening customer engagement.


🔥 What you'll be doing

* Build and manage your own sales pipeline from zero
* Identify and research target customers
* Run outbound campaigns (LinkedIn, email, etc.)
* Book and run demos
* Close deals and generate revenue
* Work directly with the Founder to refine messaging, pricing, and positioning
* Help define our Ideal Customer Profile and go-to-market approach


⭐ Qualifications

* Strong sales skills, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets
* Exceptional communication skills
* Competence in building long-term client relationships
* Proficiency with CRM, sales tools, and familiarity with SaaS businesses
* Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to win deals in an early-stage startup environment
* Previous experience in a similar role within the SaaS industry is a strong advantage

* Been a first or early sales hire before
* Worked in a startup where you had to figure things out yourself
* Personally closed deals you sourced


🚫 Who is this role NOT suitable for?

* If you rely on inbound leads
* If you’ve only worked in large, structured sales teams
* If you’re \"just a closer\" and don’t prospect


This role requires hands-on outbound and pipeline generation.

This is a full-cycle sales role. You will be responsible for generating your own pipeline from scratch, including prospecting, outreach, demos, and closing deals. You’ll be building the sales engine with us from the ground up and working closely with the CEO to do this. You will have a huge impact in your role and will set the stage for the sales strategy of the business moving forward.
