Overview
The opportunity has arisen for us to offer a 6 months secondment or fixed term contract as a Specialist Static Band 6 Respiratory Physiotherapist at Conquest Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of an inter-professional team with supervision from a senior physiotherapist.
* Independently manage a caseload of complex respiratory patients requiring timely and comprehensive assessment and rehabilitation within the acute hospital.
* Provide specialist respiratory physiotherapy to patients within critical care and acute wards, supporting post-critical care follow-up and rehabilitation services.
* Manage a clinical caseload adhering to clinical standards, guidelines, objectives, and procedures.
* Work weekend and bank holiday on a rota basis.
* Support service improvement and delivery within the respiratory physiotherapy service.
* Participate in health promotion and education of staff, patients, and families.
* Undertake regular CPD to support lifelong learning and map CPD portfolio activities.
