2nd Line IT Engineer
Location: Support Centre, 15 Basset Court, Loake Close, Northampton NN4 5EZ
Salary: £31,980 + up to 5% Bonus

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Engineer to join our IT Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting and maintaining our IT and telephony systems, ensuring seamless operations across our growing network of dental practices.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing 2nd line IT support on a day-to-day basis
* Offering occasional 1st line support when required
* Delivering consistent, high-quality resolution of 15+ tickets per day
* Supporting and implementing system changes and project work
* Carrying out onsite installations, including VOIP, firewall, and thin client setups
* Participating in out-of-hours installations or emergency site visits when necessary
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in 2nd line IT support within a fast-paced environment
* Strong technical knowledge across infrastructure, networking, and telephony systems
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
* Flexible approach to working hours and travel for site support
* Experience mentoring junior team members and managing escalations
* Driving license essential due to site visit requirements
