* Full end to end processing of payroll for 3 sites using Equator software.
* Review and control the timesheets of the businesses using time management systems, to ensure they are compliant with company policy and in line with payroll processing parameters.
* Work closely with the HR department to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
* Process new starters and leavers as necessary.
* Ensuring compliance with pension auto-enrolment scheme.
* Applying SPP, SMP, SSP and company sick pay policies as appropriate.
* Manage the apprenticeship levy.
* Process any AOE Orders through payroll, and any other ad hoc payroll amendments.
* Key contact for pension provider – uploading pension data and ensuring payments are made on time.
* Process annual P60 and P11D returns, along with P45s as and when required.
* Upload payroll to the bank for approval in line with company pay dates.
* Process other payroll payments such as union subs, HMRC payments, expenses, pension contributions etc.
* Manage communication with external payroll providers for overseas employees.
* Provide payroll reporting to key stakeholders around the businesses.
* Point of contact for queries and external bodies including HMRC and pension providers.
* Keep adequate up-to-date payroll records to ensure compliance with company and government policies.
* Ensure knowledge is up to date with all current legislation and changes.
* Ad hoc tasks linked to payroll.
* Requirements/qualifications for the job
* CIPP or Payroll qualification
* Minimum three years full end to end payroll experience
* Ability to process basic functions and formulas in Microsoft Excel
