What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
* Experience prioritising technical backlogs based on user needs, value and effort.
* A compelling track record of working with multidisciplinary teams and applying agile, user‑centred product practices to deliver value early in complex technical environments.
* Experience creating a compelling vision and roadmap that encompasses user needs and realises value early.
* Experience creating, influencing and securing stakeholder commitment for enterprise‑scale digital or platform services, supported by solid technical understanding.
You and your role
At DWP Digital, Product Managers are part of a thriving community, empowered to set the vision, drive strategy, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires a blend of product craft and technical fluency to deliver secure, resilient, scalable and user‑centred digital services.
Team assignments
* Health & Disability: Lead the evolution of our AWS and Azure platform capabilities, reducing cognitive load for engineers and accelerating delivery of high‑quality citizen‑facing services.
* Engineering: Drive the developer experience by shaping our internal developer portal and CI/CD pipeline, removing friction and enabling secure, modern software delivery at scale.
* Identity & Trust Services: Own the Access Management product, delivering secure, unified authentication and authorisation that protects sensitive citizen data across all DWP services.
* Data & Analytics: Enable safe, governed and value‑driven use of data by ensuring secure storage, controlled access and high‑quality insights across one of government's largest data landscapes.

Hybrid Working: You will work a hybrid model – 40 % from home and 60 % in a hub.
Pay: Up to £68,205.
Pension: 28.97 % employer contribution, worth over £16,786 per year.
Holidays: 26 days rising to 31 days over time, plus up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi‑time and all public holidays.
