JOB TITLE: Restaurant Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage
REPORTING TO: Restaurant Manager
MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
Our Restaurant Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our fine dining restaurant and hotel dining outlets, offering five-star service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. To star in this role, you will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and proven leadership skills in luxury dining environments. This role plays a key part in maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction, team performance, and service consistency.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Supervise day-to-day operations of the restaurant and hotel dining areas for all meal periods, ensuring five-star service standards are consistently met.
* Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house team members to deliver impeccable guest service.
* Ensure smooth coordination with the kitchen, bar, and hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
* Oversee table settings, reservations, guest seating, and service delivery, ensuring attention to detail and personalized guest care.
* Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development in alignment with hotel standards.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring complete guest satisfaction and timely resolution.
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards. ? Assist with inventory management, order supplies, and monitor usage to minimize waste.
* Support the Restaurant & Assistant Restaurant Manager in scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and reporting.
* Coordinate and supervise special events, private dining, and high-profile bookings.
* Ensure the restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation meet brand and luxury standards at all times.
General:
* To assist the duty manager from the restaurant perspective, reporting everything correctly and
efficiently
* To attend any hotel/department training or inductions, meetings or performance reviews
* To undertake any other reasonable request as required
