Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, Term time, 08:15-15:00
Pay: £95 per day

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them succeed in school? We are looking for a motivated, resilient, and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Caerphilly.
This rewarding role is ideal for candidates who want to build experience in SEN, behaviour mentoring, psychology, youth work, or education, while making a genuine difference to pupils who need extra support to thrive.
Your Role
You will work closely with pupils who may have social, emotional, behavioural, or additional learning needs, helping them access learning and feel supported throughout the school day.
Key duties include:
* Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects to maintain learning continuity
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Using positive behaviour strategies to create a calm and productive learning environment
* Building strong, trusting relationships with students to improve engagement and confidence
* Working alongside teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to support progress and wellbeing
* Encouraging resilience, motivation, and independence in learners
