YOUR DAY IN THE LIFE
As the Early Careers Project Operations Lead, your primary responsibility is to manage the Early Careers program for our client. This entails defining project scope, developing project plans, setting timelines, managing a team of Recruiters, being the day-to-day point of contact of the client and ensuring that the Early Careers cycle is successful in delivery. You will directly manage the Recruiters, overseeing their work and ensuring alignment with project goals along with a matrix management for a team of offshore screeners and administrators, managing volume tasks.
ABOUT YOU
1. Project Management; Define project scope, develop project plans and work with the client to ensure we have everything we need in place to deliver a successful cycle
2. Consultative - Acting as a consultative business partner to the client, including Hiring Managers, people team and key stakeholders
3. Innovate – Driving continuous improvement whether that be with technology or processes, EC Assessment methodology
4. Team Leadership - Lead and motivate the team to deliver the project workstreams as part of the EC program. Setting team performance metrics and regularly evaluating results and outputs.
5. Communication – Effectively communicate between the client and your team to ensure project goals are clear and expectations set, ensuring you are a point of contact should any escalation arise.
6. Relationships – help to build University relationships, key client stakeholders, Experienced hire TA team and Wilson Internal EC experts.,
7. Problem Solving; Identify and solve challenges and obstacles that arise during the cycle, making decisions alongside the client which keeps the project on track and over delivering on expectations
8. Responsible for developing Early Careers reporting; utilising the reporting suite to analyse team production, SLA achievement, candidate pipeline and DE&I outcomes.
9. EC Assessment – review & develop the use of assessment through the EC process, ensuring assessment is efficacious and driving efficiency whilst fair & appropriate.
10. Development and Training; Provide relevant training, guidance on best practices, and create an environment that fosters learning for team members.
11. Resource Management – Manage the resources required for the project, including making decisions about resource allocation and ensuring efficient deployment in line with the Early Careers cycle.
12. Quality Assurance; Establish and enforce quality standards, conduct reviews and compliance audits, and monitor and improve project quality.
13. Adaptability; Be adaptable to changes in scope and requirements as Early Careers Projects evolve bring your team along as part of the journey.
REQUIREMENTS
14. Proven experience in managing an Early Careers program.
15. Deep experience in managing multiple client stakeholders and overachieving their expectations
16. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
17. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
18. Solid understanding of resource management including allocation and efficiency
19. Adaptability to changes in project scope and requirements
