Part-Time Teaching Assistant – Year 2/3 Class

Mornings only: 8:45am – 12:00pm
Part-time position - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Year 2/3 class in the Ditcheat area. This role is ideal for someone looking to work during school mornings, supporting children with their learning and contributing to a positive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to the class teacher in delivering lessons.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to help them progress.
* Encourage and motivate pupils to engage with their learning.
* Assist with classroom organisation and resources.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Requirements
* Experience working with children (school-based experience desirable but not essential).
* A patient, positive, and flexible approach.
* Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
* Commitment to supporting the learning and development of all children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
