Responsibilities
* Receiving, labelling, tracking and storing PD samples, maintaining freezer inventories and check‑in/check‑out systems.
* Packaging and shipping samples to internal sites, subcontractors and clients, and managing couriers and shipment documentation.
* Coordinating analytical sample requests and ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate teams.
* Managing in‑process controls, standards, critical reagents and control materials, and communicating low stock as required.
* Liaising with subcontractors for external testing and resolving shipment discrepancies promptly.
* Developing and maintaining efficient systems for sample storage, traceability, labelling (including barcoding) and controlled disposal.
* Training colleagues in Sample Management procedures and writing/reviewing SOPs, RAs and OJTs.
Qualifications
* Maths & English GCSE as a minimum requirement.
* Pharmaceutical industry experience or equivalent experience.
* Attention to detail as well as excellent organisational and time management skills.
