ROLE – Engineering Manager
SALARY - £45,000- £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience
TYPE – Permanent
LOCATION – Kidderminster
My client is a specialist manufacturer and they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team in the Kidderminster area on a permanent basis.
The Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
* Experience in a similar Design Manager/ Engineering Manager role previously
* Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering
* Proficiency with using SolidWorks and Vault or similar
* Previous exposure to using MS Project would be ideal
* Strong leadership skills
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Engineering Manager role will involve:
* Leading and developing the design team
* Managing the delivery of engineering tasks / communicating with vendors and partners
* Always driving continuous improvement in the department
* Directly managing reports, setting KPI's and carrying out Reviews and training as required
* design and detail drawings using 3D CAD software
* Supporting the other platform design teams as necessary through collaboration with other colleagues
* Ensuring all work meets the relevant standards
* Ensuring compliance with their ISO standards
