Assistant Manager Quality Country Pub Group | Berkshire Area Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience Hours: Approximately 45–48 hours per week Rota: 4-day working week (3 days off) An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join a well-established, owner-led pub group in Berkshire. The role will primarily be based at a highly regarded country pub known for its strong reputation, loyal local following and relaxed but professional service style. There will also be the opportunity to support a sister site nearby, which is currently being developed and re-established under the same ownership. This is an exciting time to join the business as the second venue continues to grow, offering the chance to become part of a stable and experienced hospitality team with strong operational support already in place. The Role Working closely with the ownership and management team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the restaurant and pub floor, helping maintain service standards while supporting the team. You will: Support the daily running of the restaurant and bar operations Lead shifts and ensure smooth, organised service Maintain strong guest interaction and a welcoming atmosphere Support the training and development of the front-of-house team Assist with stock control, organisation and service preparation Help maintain food presentation and service standards Occasionally work across both venues to support the wider operation This role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to develop further within a well-run hospitality business. The Package Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience 4-day working week with 3 days off Approximately 45–48 hours per week Stable working environment with a strong existing team Opportunity to gain experience across two established venues The business is well organised operationally, with dedicated support for HR, payroll and operations, allowing managers to focus on running great service and leading their teams.
