Women’s Services includes Women’s Centres that are safe for women facing challenges and at risk of marginalisation, including women involved in the sex industry, women facing domestic violence, and those based in the social housing community of the inner city and western suburbs. Our team works together to create trusted places where people gather, community is strong and lives are transformed. We walk with each person to understand the unique circumstances of their life and we empower them to live well through practical and reliable support. Your role as Case Worker is to provide the highest possible standard of support and clinical case work to clients within a trauma informed care framework. About You: Essential Qualifications & Experience Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Counselling, or other relevant fields (Diploma minimum) Experience working in case work or counselling roles with women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence Experience in social or community work, counselling, and group facilitation Extensive experience working in a trauma informed, client-centred way Holds a current and valid Working with Children Check Current drivers licence required Essential Competencies Models & promotes BaptistCare vision, purpose and practises & leads others aligned with our Shared Values Excellent communication skills verbally and written Advanced skills in risk assessment and case work relating to Domestic and Family Violence Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated but also work collaboratively as part of a wider team Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders, services, agencies, departments, and government and non-government organisations Actively engages in clinical supervision and line management About Us: We are proud to be part of the merged care organisation that will be known nationally as BaptistCare.
