Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a £30m industrial development project in Chatteris.
The project involves large-scale earthworks, drainage, and reinforced concrete slab construction, providing an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong setting out and quality assurance experience.
Key Responsibilities
*
Setting out for earthworks, drainage, foundations, holding down bolts, and RC pads
*
Managing QA documentation, as-built drawings, and survey records
*
Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, site procedures, and health and safety requirements
*
Coordinating with the site management team and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of works
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on industrial or large-scale construction projects
*
Previous involvement in earthworks, drainage, and reinforced concrete packages
*
Must have own engineering instruments (total station or GPS)
*
Strong technical understanding of site engineering processes, QA, and setting out
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
