Are you looking to begin your journey in creating safer, more sustainable workplaces? We’re excited to offer an entry-level opportunity for an EHS Generalist to join our team at our Kent site. This is a great chance to learn and grow in a supportive environment while helping to improve EHS practices across the site.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be supporting the EHS team with a variety of tasks, including:
🛠 Risk & Incident Support
* Helping to update risk assessments and keep records organised.
* Assisting with logging incidents and learning how to support investigations.
🔍 Inspections & Audits
* Joining routine site checks and helping to prepare for audits.
* Learning how to follow up on findings and support improvements.
📊 Digital Systems & Reporting
* Entering data into EHS systems and helping to create monthly reports.
* Spotting trends and learning how to interpret EHS data.
📚 Training & Awareness
* Supporting training sessions and helping with onboarding materials.
* Keeping training records up to date.
📄 Policies & Procedures
* Assisting in drafting and sharing EHS policies.
* Helping track action plans and follow-ups.
🚨 Emergency & Environmental Support
* Learning how emergency plans are developed and practiced.
* Supporting sustainability efforts and monitoring environmental data.
🤝 Team Engagement
* Being a friendly point of contact for EHS questions.
* Helping deliver toolbox talks and building relationships across the site.
What We’re Looking For
* A keen interest in health, safety, and sustainability.
* Good communication and organisation skills.
* Willingness to learn and get involved.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital tools.
* Any experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
* IOSH Managing Safely Certificate (Desirable)
