The Job Summary: Wrightbus is a growing manufacturing company which currently operates in the UK, Europe and Asia. The International Financial Controller will be responsible for the management of the finance teams for International and non-core UK business units ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information and compliance with all regulatory frameworks. Key Tasks Summary A wide range of duties that may include, but are not limited to: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Provide a consolidated view of International businesses across the different sectors and geographical operations. Deliver detailed financial performance reports, including variance analysis and KPIs, to senior management on an appropriately timely basis. Provide insight into financial trends and opportunities to support commercial decision-making. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for all non-UK and non-core based entities. Use the processes to ensure strategic alignment with the company's goals and to highlight opportunities and risks. Manage rolling forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities to key stakeholders. Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for business growth initiatives. Compliance and Internal Controls: Lead monthly accounting close process for all non-UK and non-core based entities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax and company policies in all territories. Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate reporting. Coordinate with external auditors for the year-end audit and resolve any recommendations. Systems and Process Improvements: Ensure financial systems and processes are robust, efficient, and scalable. Drive process improvements, including automation of reporting and transactional tasks. Evaluate and recommend financial tools to enhance reporting accuracy and timeliness. Active engagement in roll-out of future ERP system. Lead, mentor, and develop the International and non-core finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The Requirements Chartered Accountant ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent. At least 3 years PQE. Experience of having influenced senior leadership as a finance business partner essential Experience of providing financial leadership in a Manufacturing and/or Parts and Service environment. Up to date computer skills including MS Office and advanced Excel skills. Significant analytical skillset, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools.
