Koala Klubs Activity Camps deliver outstanding school holiday childcare for children aged 5–14, offering an exciting mix of sports, games, arts, crafts, and team challenges at top venues across the UK. Our goal is simple — to give every child a safe, active, and unforgettable holiday experience! We’re looking for enthusiastic Activity Leaders to join our team at Sidcup Leisure Centre this Christmas on the following dates: December 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th, 31st, and January 2nd. Your Role As an Activity Leader, you’ll be at the heart of the fun — leading activities, inspiring children, and ensuring every camper has a brilliant day. You’ll bring energy, creativity, and care to everything you do, helping to make Koala Klubs at South Moorlands a highlight of every child’s school holiday. Main Responsibilities: Lead or assist with a wide range of sports, games, and creative activities for groups of children aged 5–14. Create a welcoming, positive, and engaging environment where children feel safe and supported. Supervise children during sessions, lunch, and breaks, maintaining high standards of care and safety. Get to know the children in your group — understand their interests, personalities, and needs. Deliver exciting and age-appropriate activities using the resources and guidance provided. Support the Camp Manager and fellow team members in setting up and running daily schedules. Take responsibility for the welfare, behaviour, and happiness of the children in your care. Maintain a tidy activity area, ensuring all equipment is used safely and put away properly. Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help create a fantastic camp experience for every child. What We’re Looking For You’ll be someone who loves working with children, enjoys being active, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to each day. Requirements: Experience working with children in a sports, coaching, childcare, or education setting. A minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant field (sport, childcare, or teaching) is preferred but not essential. Energetic, reliable, caring, and confident in engaging with children aged 5–14. Eligible to work in the UK with satisfactory references. Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check via Koala Klubs or the Update Service. Able to complete online training and attend a pre-camp induction at Sidcup Leisure Centre. Available for all camp dates and able to assist with set-up and pack-down duties each day. Additional Responsibilities Follow all Health & Safety and Safeguarding procedures at all times. Promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and inclusion among all campers. Support children with additional needs or medical requirements appropriately. Report any concerns regarding a child’s welfare to the Camp Manager or Safeguarding Lead. Be a positive role model by encouraging healthy habits, kindness, and respect. Be prepared to assist with swimming sessions (bring swimwear and a spare t-shirt). Why Join Koala Klubs?
