Location: NI – Antrim (Randox Science Park, 30 Randalstown Road, Antrim, BT41 4FL)

Contract Offered: Full‑time, permanent.
Working Hours / Shifts: 5:20 pm to 4 am, Monday to Thursday (day‑time hours initially for training).
What does this role involve?
* Manufacture and modify machined and other custom components in support of design engineering and manufacturing groups.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric tolerancing.
* Program the CNC milling machine and store completed programs for future use.
* Use workshop tools, including 3D printing facilities, to support development of engineering projects.
* Maintain stock control of tools, materials and consumables to support the workshop programme.
* Collaborate with engineering project teams, providing technical input based on practical experience of materials and machining.
* Perform routine preventative machine maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, drill sharpening, and logging of machine defects and significant maintenance work.
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment to support efficient operations and company Health & Safety procedures.
* Report on status of work in progress, both orally and in written format, to direct and senior management.
* Assist in training company staff in use of workshop facilities where appropriate.
Essential Criteria
* Minimum 2 years of machine shop experience.
* Ability to work independently.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work within a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
* Possession of a technical qualification (e.g., OND, BTEC) or equivalent level of experience.
* Completion of an accredited apprenticeship.
