Women’s Counselling and Therapy Service
Perinatal team and 16 sessions team.
Are you exceptional and looking to make a difference to the lives of marginalised women? If so, we are looking for you to join our friendly and supportive team.
25 – 35 hours per week (Negotiable, to include Wednesday morning, and one early evening to 7pm). Based at Portland Street LS1 3DR, and working from community venues in Leeds.
Salary £27,011 – £38,020 (pro rata, 2023-24 pay award pending) depending on skills, experience and training plus 5% employer pension contribution.
Higher salary (up to £46,728) may be available for a candidate with specific qualifications / experience eg Family Therapist; Parent Infant Psychotherapy; IAPT qualifications, etc.
We offer regular external clinical supervision, reflective practice groups, peer support and a generous individual training budget for professional development.
These posts offer the opportunity to provide therapy for women who:
Have experienced complex trauma, and who are in many cases living with the consequences of violence and abuse.
Are pregnant, have a baby or have recently experienced baby loss.
Applications are invited from female counsellors or psychotherapists with BACP Accreditation (or equivalent) OR those eligible for accreditation including 500+ post qualifying hours.
