Working Hours: 36.5 hours per week (early finish on a Friday) Job Description: As a Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and production across the plant. Your main responsibilities will include managing the production schedule, maintaining optimal stock levels, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely and effective operations. The Production Planner will utilise an MRP system to control daily work activity, creating and maintaining SMART production plans that support on-time delivery goals. This position also involves identifying and addressing deviations from the plan using lean manufacturing principles and data analysis. You will support the development of Methods of Manufacture (MOMs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assist in technical documentation and communication. The Production Planner will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in material planning and inventory management.
