Role Overview
The Turndown Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring that every guest at Louma enjoys an atmosphere of comfort, tranquility, and understated luxury. This position is perfect for someone with a genuine passion for service excellence and a natural instinct for detail - someone who notices the little things, such as a curtain that needs adjusting or a bed linen that could be smoothed to perfection. By anticipating guest needs and delivering subtle yet memorable touches, you will help transform each stay into an exceptional experience
What You'll Do...
* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strictly follow established cleaning procedures and schedules.
* Use correct chemicals, materials, equipment, and methods in line with procedures for specific areas and items. Maintain full awareness of COSHH and MSDS guidelines for safe chemical handling, storage, transport, and use across the site, in compliance with SOPs. (Full training provided.)
* Ensure all areas are consistently clean, tidy, and presented to the highest standard.
* Collect rubbish, refuse, and waste, and dispose of them in designated bins/areas according to schedules.
* Collect used linen, replace with clean stock as required, and follow established linen procedures. Carry out in-house laundering of items when necessary.
* Provide support to other departments in moving items and setting up areas as needed.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager.
What We're Looking For...
* Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning.
* Reliable transportation to site (no public transportation to site).
* Availability to work weekends and evenings to fulfil operational responsibilities.
* A focused, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
* Ability to use own initiative while also working effectively as part of a team.
* Demonstrates respect towards colleagues and guests at all times.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive working relationships.
