Business Analyst ( Data / HR ) – Global HR Transformation Hybrid – 2 days per week on site in Preston Circa £600 per day (Outside IR35) 3 months initially UK Citizens only Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst ( Data / HR ) to support a Global HR Transformation Programme for a major client. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality HR data migration, validation, and governance across a complex HR system landscape, with a core focus on SAP SuccessFactors. The successful Business Analyst ( Data / HR ) will have deep experience in HR data projects, hands-on data migration work, and strong exposure to SAP SuccessFactors. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and data migration specialists to ensure data integrity and alignment with the Global Solution Framework (GSF). This contract is outside IR35 and requires on-site presence in Preston 2 days per week. UK citizenship is mandatory due to clearance requirements. Key Responsibilities for the Business Analyst ( Data / HR ) 1. Legacy System Data Support * Understand legacy and source HR systems and associated data structures * Conduct raw data extractions and prepare data reports * Identify data gaps against target SAP SuccessFactors structure (GSF) * Define and document data mapping and transformation rules with business teams * Support mock migrations and validate outputs against expected results * Collaborate with migration teams to resolve data quality and transformation issues 2. HR Org Effectiveness CoE Support * Manage and maintain HR datasets across OrgVue and Alteryx * Process job architecture changes and ensure governance workflows are followed * Analyse and report on mapping anomalies, using Excel and OrgVue * Deliver stakeholder reporting packs and support people manager engagement * Prepare migration templates and run VBA scripts for data formatting and transformation Key Tools & Technologies * SAP SuccessFactors (Essential) * Excel (Advanced functions and VBA scripting) * OrgVue & Alteryx (for position data, reporting, transformation) * Legacy HR systems * Workday / other HRIS (advantageous) Essential Requirements * Proven experience working on HR data migration projects * Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors * Demonstrable experience in data analysis, transformation, and validation * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills * UK Citizenship (required for clearance) * Able to work on site in Preston 2 days per week Preferred Experience * Experience working on large-scale HR transformation programmes * Understanding of HR operating models, job architecture, and org design * Familiarity with data lifecycle management and governance best practices To be considered for the Business Analyst ( Data / HR ) role, click apply now
