We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Electrical Operations Manager to lead electrical projects, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. Role Overview: As the Electrical Operations Manager, you will oversee electrical project operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution. You will be responsible for managing project teams, maintaining client relationships, and achieving profit and loss (P&L) targets while adhering to industry standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Management: • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects. • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. • Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and NICEIC standards. • Collaborate with other departments to minimize operational disruptions. 2. Team Leadership: • Manage and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors. • Forecast labour requirements and allocate resources effectively. • Drive staff development initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning. 3. Client Management: • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships. • Address project concerns proactively and identify opportunities for repeat business. 4. Compliance & Safety: • Ensure all work meets relevant codes and standards (BS 7671, NICEIC). • Conduct routine inspections and audits to uphold safety protocols. • Implement the latest industry updates to maintain compliance. 5. Financial Management: • Develop strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs. • Monitor financial performance and align project objectives with business goals. 6. Estimating & Tendering: • Review project specifications and produce accurate cost estimates. • Present quotations to clients, emphasizing value-added solutions. 7. Industry Expertise & Innovation: • Identify areas for process improvement and introduce innovative solutions. • Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies. Qualifications & Experience: • Apprentice-trained in Electrical Engineering/Installation. • 10 years of experience in electrical installation and project management (FMCG sector preferred). • Certifications: 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations, HNC Electrical Engineering, SMSTS/SSSTS. • Demonstrated financial management skills and strong leadership capabilities.
