Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Junior Software Engineer, based in London. The role involves participating in all stages of software development, including designing, coding, testing, and deploying new features. You will work closely with a collaborative team to develop and maintain scalable back-end systems and provide innovative solutions to improve functionality and user experience. The position requires an aptitude for programming and the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges efficiently.
Salary: 30K Rising to 35K Post Probation.
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and concepts
* Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
* Experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
* A passion for learning, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* Familiarity with secure coding practices and interest in financial technology is a plus
