Job Overview
Field Service Manager
As the Field Service Manager you will drive operational excellence and exceed business goals. You will lead a team of skilled Lift & Escalator Engineers on industrial lifts, guiding them to meet targets for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), LOLER defects, and call‑outs within our Brackley Service Branch. You will shape and inspire the team, ensuring exceptional service that aligns with company values and Health & Safety standards. This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced Lift Engineer looking to progress into management.
Working Hours
Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑16:45 and Friday 08:00‑15:45
Field Service Manager Job Responsibilities
* Efficiently plan Lift and Escalator Engineers workloads
* Manage absence, performance, and appraisals for the team
* Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures by conducting risk assessments and method statements
* Carry out regular site monitoring
* Maintain relationships with customers, addressing queries and complaints
* Maintain credit control logs and CRM
Field Service Manager Job Requirements
* Previous experience in the lift and escalator industry, or a similar service industry with transferable skills
* Relevant technical or management qualifications desirable
* NVQ Level 3 / NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering
