Position: Station Control Manager (SCM)
We are looking to recruit individuals to join our SCM team. The key responsibilities include:
1. Monitoring train services at key stations and recording incidents in our logging system.
2. Reporting delays to Train Service Managers and advising on potential impacts.
3. Logging delays and actions taken for stakeholder visibility.
4. Preparing real-time performance summaries and reports for Senior Managers.
5. Updating systems related to unit allocations and diagram changes in real time.
6. Working under the guidance of the Duty Network Operations Manager.
7. Learning and developing skills in a busy operational environment.
8. Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to meet operational goals.
9. Influencing and persuading stakeholders to deliver optimal service levels.
10. Proactively planning to prevent problems and challenges.
11. Adhering to operational plans and understanding their impact on service quality.
12. Continuously seeking process improvements to enhance customer experience.
13. Utilizing analytical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and bespoke rail industry systems.
