About the Role
Havas Lynx, a global advertising agency at the forefront of healthcare communications, is looking for a Lead Designer to join our creative team in Manchester. The role is a senior position where you’ll take ownership of design excellence across projects, ensuring every piece of work meets and exceeds client expectations. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage a team, and play a key role in shaping the visual direction of campaigns.
Work will be hybrid: office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead high-impact information & data design, transforming data, research, and scientific narratives into intuitive design systems.
* Shape the conceptual design direction of major campaigns, influencing key decisions and guiding client thinking.
* Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary design team, ensuring consistently exceptional work.
* Drive quality and innovation across digital and print, championing refined craft and attention to detail.
* Leverage AI to accelerate the creation of design systems while maintaining uniqueness and brand ownership.
Qualifications
* Industry leader in visual communication with a strong eye for aesthetics and detail.
* Expert knowledge of design applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and digital best practices.
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and leading projects from concept to final execution.
* Excellent project management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Proactive in building client relationships and confident in guiding creative direction.
* Committed to personal development and fostering talent within the team.
* Experience working with Generative AI tools and data, with AI certifications from platforms such as Coursera, Section AI, or LinkedIn Learning.
