As a Kitchen Porter in our busy hospital kitchen, you'll be essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for food preparation and service. What you’ll do: Ensuring the kitchen and equipment are cleaned to the highest hygiene standards Supporting food preparation and service where needed Safely storing and using cleaning materials in line with COSHH regulations Assisting in basic food production and handling Completing daily cleaning schedules and compliance checks Upholding infection control, food safety, and health & safety procedures Being a friendly and helpful presence for patients, staff, and visitors What you bring: A positive, customer-focused attitude Good communication and teamwork skills An understanding of basic health & safety and hygiene standards Strong attention to detail and personal cleanliness Willingness to complete training and develop in the role Previous experience in a large-scale or institutional kitchen preferred Food safety or health & safety qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2) ideal What we offer: Working at Sodexo isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to make a difference every day.
