We're delivering a once-in-a-generation rail infrastructure project at Old Oak Common, the new HS2 super-hub transforming the way people travel in and out of London. Our team is leading the design and delivery of cutting-edge MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Fire & Communications) systems - and we're looking for passionate Electrical Engineers of all levels, from talented graduates to seasoned Directors, to join us on this incredible journey.
Whether you're just starting out, looking to take the next step into leadership, or ready for strategic oversight at Director level - there's a place for you here.
Why This Role Is Different
This isn't just another engineering job - it's an opportunity to be part of a collaborative, growing and forward-thinking team working on one of the UK's highest-profile infrastructure programmes.
You'll be supported, challenged, and empowered to make a real difference, while shaping the future of transport in the UK.
What You'll Be Doing (Tailored to Your Level)
Depending on your experience and aspirations, you could be:
1. Designing and delivering electrical services for a complex, multi-disciplinary rail environment
2. Acting as a CEM (Contractor's Engineering Manager) or CRE (Contractor's Responsible Engineer)
3. Supporting or deputising for the MEP Associate Director
4. Leading and mentoring engineers within your discipline
5. Conducting technical reviews and contributing to design assurance
6. Managing programme delivery and design coordination
7. Upskilling and coaching emerging engineers
8. Representing the team in client and stakeholder meetings
9. Driving innovation and technical excellence within a collaborative team
What We're Looking For
We're open to electrical engineering professionals at all stages - but ideally, you'll bring some of the following:
10. Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or similar discipline)
11. Working toward or already hold Engineering Council registration
12. Experience in the UK rail sector (rail stations highly desirable)
13. Knowledge of key industry standards (Network Rail, HS2, TfL, British Standards)
14. Experience in roles such as CRE, CEM, or DPE (advantageous but not essential for junior levels)
15. Ability to work across design stages - from feasibility to As-Built
16. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
17. Proficiency in software like Trimble/Amtech ProDesign, Dialux, or Relux
18. A drive to learn, lead, and contribute to a high-performance team
Why Join Us?
We value great people - and we reward them. Alongside a competitive salary, we offer:
A clear progression path - grow from Engineer to Director
27 days' annual leave (rising to 29) + bank holidays
Annual bonus (depending on level)
Private medical insurance (individual or family)
Electric Car & Cycle to Work Schemes
Mobile phone allowance
Workplace nursery scheme
Travel loans, Specsavers vouchers & more
Flexible, hybrid working
Industry-leading training & development
You must have the right to work in the UK.
