Your new role
Roles and Responsibilities of a Graduate Structural Engineer:
1. You will be involved in several diverse projects of varying scales.
2. Collaborate with senior engineers to design solutions for both temporary and permanent structures.
3. Apply engineering principles and industry best practices to create high-quality, efficient designs that meet project requirements.
4. Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
5. Ensure all documentation adheres topany standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Work closely with cross-functional to gather requirements and achieve project objectives.
7. Clearlymunicate technical concepts, solutions, and project updates to diverse audiences.
8. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects.
9. Engage in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for the Graduate Structural Engineer role must:
Have a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, preferably with or 1st degree. Work placement experience would be ideal.
Have experience of designing with variousmonly used building materials.
Have knowledge of soil mechanics and expertise in foundation design.
Possess self-motivation, exceptionalmunication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Be proficient in preparing structural designs using traditional materials.Have strong verbalmunication skills, including clear, confident, and convincing telephone conversations.
