Job Description As a Toolmaker, you will play a critical role in supporting high-quality production by ensuring tooling is well-maintained, reliable, and precise. Your work will directly contribute to smooth manufacturing operations and minimal downtime. Key responsibilities include: * Responding to tooling and moulding breakdowns in a busy production environment. * Carrying out preventative maintenance and servicing of mould tools. * Diagnosing faults and performing repairs to tooling. * Precision machining tasks, including EDM, milling, turning, grinding, and welding. * Preparing new mould tooling for production. * Working closely with production teams to prioritise and resolve breakdowns effectively. * Maintaining high housekeeping standards (5S) and always upholding health & safety. Skills & Experience To succeed as a Toolmaker, you should have: * Significant experience with injection moulding tooling. * Completion of an approved apprenticeship (ONC or equivalent) in an engineering discipline. * Strong machining, welding, and fault-finding skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * A proactive, solutions-driven approach. * Commitment to the values of being bold, dedicated, and caring.
