We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a friendly and supportive secondary school in Witham, Essex. This position is due to start in April 2026 and will run until the end of the academic year, with potential to extend for the right candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher with experience in one or more science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) who is committed to inspiring students and fostering a love of learning.
The Role:
Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan and prepare engaging and challenging lessons
Assess, monitor, and track student progress
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiativesThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Have experience teaching Science at secondary level
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Be passionate about Science and student achievement
